Day release requirements: No 

Functional Skills: Undertaking additional level 2 maths, English & ICT classes may be required if candidate does not hold A-C

Additional Requirements: Must have been an EU resident for the past 3 years.  Must not already hold a degree or Level 4 qualification.

 

Employer Job Description:

You will receive a Business Administration qualification as part of this apprenticeship!

Duties will include:

  • Purchase invoice checking and approval
  • The raising of daily invoices from our accounts system
  • Preparing and printing both single and bulk invoice runs
  • Maintaining spreadsheets
  • Filing of job bags, sample invoices and all purchase invoices
  • Providing information for financial reports
  • Chasing outstanding debtors
  • Allocating incoming payments
  • Investigating and resolving invoice queries
  • Paying company invoices
  • Running the aged debtors report
  • Liaising with the accounts team in order to resolve queries
  • Stock allocation
  • Typing duties as directed
  • Answering customer emails
  • Take messages and pass on to the relevant member of staff in an appropriate and timely manner
  • To provide appropriate reception cover as and when required
  • To obtain and retrieve customer/non-customer records as requested
  • To maintain filing systems in line with the Companies policies and procedures
  • To be a flexible and supportive member of the team.
  • Attend and take part in team meetings & regular reviews with line manager etc.
  • To prepare for and attend assessment meetings and participate in relevant training programs as required
  • Responsibility for all verbal and written communication to customers, ensuring that standards are kept at the highest level
  • General tidiness of office, own desk and surrounding areas.
  • Special projects as directed by the Sales Manager and/or Director
