What is the programme structure?
Following an initial workshop, you will meet with your Primary Assessor for tutorials, approximately 1 hour every 3 /4 weeks.
Who is the programme for?
The Level 4 Certificate is designed to offer those individuals who wish to verify assessments made by assessors who are assessing learners working to achieve National Vocational Qualifications. The role of Internal Quality Assurance is essential as the Internal Quality assurance ensures the assessment process carried out by others meets the agreed national standards and requirements of the Awarding Bodies.
How long does it take to complete?
You have 12 months in which to complete the award.
What qualifications do I need?
You will need to have occupational competence as determined by the sector and have responsibility for at least 2 NVQ assessors. It is anticipated that individuals accessing the award should hold the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (or its equivalent)
What does it include?
Your Primary Assessor will also provide e-mail and telephone support with 1:1 tutorials.

How is the programme assessed?
The programme is assessed through completion of a portfolio demonstrating: • Carrying out and evaluate internal assessment and quality assurance systems • Supporting assessors • Monitoring the quality of assessors’ performance • Meeting external quality assurance requirements. You will also conduct a professional discussion with your primary assessor.

The Level 4 Certificate in leading the internal quality of assurance of the assessment process and practice
