Introduction to Floristry – Leisure
What is the programme structure?
The course covers the principles of design and theory of colour which are used when putting an arrangement together. Contemporary arrangements as well as more traditional styles will be covered. Learners will also learn about keeping/storing flowers.
Who is the programme for?
Suitable for anyone with an interest in flower arranging who wishes to acquire the skills and techniques to produce imaginative arrangements.
How long does it take to complete?
The course runs for 2 hours per week for 8 weeks.
What qualifications do I need?
No previous qualifications required.

Materials: Please note the initial material fee when enrolling covers the tutor demonstrations only. Leaners will have to purchase fresh flowers and accessories each week, which the tutor can provide.
How is the programme assessed?
Tutor assessment. No formal exam.
