What is the programme structure?

You will learn more advanced skills for MS Word to produce letters and documents and MS Excel using formulas.

Who is the programme for?

This course is designed as a follow on from the beginners course or for those who have basic skills and wish to improve their skills further. Previous experience of using a key board and mouse and basic knowledge of MS software is essential

How long does it take to complete?
6 weeks at 2 hours each week

What qualifications do I need?

No formal qualifications required. This programme is aimed towards absolute beginners.
You will be required to complete an initial assessment to provide the tutor with your current abilities at the first lesson.

What does it include?

This programme will teach students an introduction to word processing, the Internet and Email.

Are there any special facilities for the programme?
The special facilities include the ICT Suite and the use of computers.

Will there be any extra costs involved?

There are no extra costs involved for this course.

How is the programme assessed?
Tutor assessment. No formal exam.

What award will I achieve?
There is no award for this course. Learners will receive a College certificate if they attend every class.
