What is the programme structure?
A 'hands on' approach to learning and gaining practical skills, knowledge and understanding in caring for babies and young children. The skills knowledge and understanding gained may help learners prepare for work through real or simulated work situations and contribute to preparing them for working life. For learners aged 19 and above. Following the successful completion learners could progress to work based learning or to further learning at a higher level. The NCFE Level 1 Occupational Studies in the Workplace qualifications are internally assessed.
