The course consists of 3 Mandatory units.
* Explore Craft Resources
* Explore Craft Ideas
* Create, Present and Review Final Craft Ideas
Who is the programme for?
This programme is aimed towards adult students who wish to gain a formal qualification in Art and Design/Ceramics.
How long does it take to complete?
This course will run for Term 1 and on completion you will have the chance to apply for the next level.
What qualifications do I need?
You need no former qualifications to do this course.
What does it include?
You will be doing a range of creative ceramic techniques such as Coiling - Slab building - Paper Clay - Press Moulding - Raku Firing - Earthenware Glazing - Stoneware Glazing
Are there any special facilities for the programme?
The special facilities will include tutors, who are experienced within a wide range of Fine Art disciplines, practicing along side their teaching.
Will there be any extra costs involved?
How is the programme assessed?
This programme is assessed through practical studio work, sketchbook work and written evaluation.

What can I do next?
On successful completion of the programme students may progress onto a higher level course in Fine Art/Ceramics, become self employed artists or work within the arts industry.
