What is the programme structure?
Attendance is 1 day a week for 6 hours. The course will be run on a Tuesday to be confirmed.
Who is the programme for?
This course is designed for adult students (19+) who have a keen interest in art & design.
How long does it take to complete?
The course is 12 weeks in duration. It runs from April to July 2017 and students attend for 6 hours per week.
What qualifications do I need?
This is a beginners course and does not require any formal qualifications.
What does it include?
This is a 12 week course aimed at beginners. The course will deliver workshops in a number of art & design disciplines including printmaking, painting and drawing. Students will study 3 mandatory units: Explore Craft Resources, Explore Craft Ideas and Create, Present and Review Final Art & Design Item.
Are there any special facilities for the programme?
Mid Cheshire offer State of the Art facilities on campus to support learning. Sessions will be delivered in purpose built art studios and workshops.
Will there be any extra costs involved?
Students will be required to provide their own sketchbooks. There will be a materials fee for each student of £20.
How is the programme assessed?
Assessment will be through sketchbook work, design sheets, workshop samples and final outcomes.
