What is the programme structure?

Every course includes a mixture of lectures, group activities, discussions and practical activities.
Learners are expected to improve all four language skills, with particular emphasis on the skill focus speaking and listening.

Who is the programme for?

If you are confident in using the Spanish language at intermediate level or above, this is the course for you! A chance to join in discussions using the Spanish language on current affairs and matters of general interest. There is no formal assessment.

How long does it take to complete?
2 hours per week for 7 sessions

What qualifications do I need?

Entry is dependent on completion of Spanish Advanced course or equivalent

What does it include?

This course is for students who already speak Spanish fluently but would like to perfect their accuracy and expand their range of vocabulary. Conversation classes will focus on speaking and listening skills only.

Are there any special facilities for the programme?
The classroom provided will be sufficient for the courses requirements.

Will there be any extra costs involved?

We recommend the purchase of a bilingual dictionary. Although we will provide textbooks to use in class, owning your own textbook will be beneficial.

How is the programme assessed?
Your progress will be informally assessed throughout the year. You will be expected to study at home too.
