What is the programme structure?
Students will be taught to draw and paint plants and gardens from still life and advised on how to draw from nature. Students will learn to capture the character and individual qualities of a variety of natural subjects using watercolour paints.
Who is the programme for?
Anyone who enjoys painting from nature. Beginners and improvers are welcome.
How long does it take to complete?
2 hours for 9 weeks
What qualifications do I need?
No previous qualifications required.

The programme includes group and one to one tuition.
Are there any special facilities for the programme?
Will there be any extra costs involved?
Learners will use their own materials. Basic materials required for first class includes watercolour paints, brushes and paper, board masking tape, water pot, kitchen towel. Tutor will advise on first session on any further equipment/materials necessary. There is a materials cost for the natural objects that that tutor provides.
How is the programme assessed?
Tutor assessed during the course of the programme to ensure student progress. Additional tutor support given where needed.
