What is the programme structure?
Students will be taught to understand and apply the basics of working with watercolours and use a range of materials and techniques to achieve the desired creative outcome for their landscapes, portraits and still-life work.
Who is the programme for?
This course is for anyone who already has the basic knowledge of Watercolour Painting and would like to improve their skills. You will be shown to understand and apply the basis of working with watercolours and use a range of materials and techniques to achieve the desired creative outcome for your landscapes and still life work.
How long does it take to complete?
The course runs for 2 hours per week for 9 weeks
What qualifications do I need?
No previous qualifications required.
What does it include?
This programme includes group and one to one tuition.
Are there any special facilities for the programme?
The classroom provided will be sufficient for the courses requirements.
Will there be any extra costs involved?
Students will use their own materials. Basic materials required for first class includes watercolour paper, watercolour paints, watercolour brushes, board, masking tape, water pot and kitchen towel. Tutor will advise on first session on any further equipment/materials necessary.
How is the programme assessed?
Tutor assessment. No formal exam.
What award will I achieve?
There is no award for this course.
There is no examining body for this course.
What can I do next?
Students can continue to develop their watercolour painting skills in this class. They will also be advised of other courses available for further study at Mid Cheshire College.
