Aged 19 or over? Looking to launch a future in Art, Design or Music, or gain some new creative skills for fun? You can do it at Mid Cheshire College.
Whatever your focus, from Fine Art to Photography, you’ll pick up vital, career-specific skills and refine your creative abilities.
Working within the college’s state-of-the-art Arts and Creative Media building, you’ll have access to dedicated studio spaces, acquiring experience of the equipment you’ll be using in your future career.
By the end of the course you’ll have a portfolio of original work to showcase your talent, as well as a CV-boosting qualification certificate, to help open the door to future employment or a Higher Education course in your subject.
There are also a number of informal courses available to help you pick up new creative skills or improve your abilities in Art, Design and Music. These shorter courses give you access to the same tutors and resources, but with a focus on developing your abilities in a fun and relaxed environment.

Professional wedding, event, fashion or journalistic photographer, commercial artist, designer, animator, various arts industry jobs or Higher Education

You’ll work towards a nationally recognised qualification demonstrating your understanding and expertise in your chosen industry. You’ll combine assessment work with vital real-life experience, putting your knowledge into action at work.
You’ll follow a bespoke learning plan, created collaboratively by your employer and Mid Cheshire College, and designed to give you the most relevant teaching and training for your chosen industry.
You’ll complete the apprenticeship with a National Vocational Qualification (QCF) equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree, as well as a portfolio of completed work, a Technical Certificate, and proven on-the-job experience.
