These courses are a perfect way for speakers of other languages to learn English in order to find work, make new friends and improve their experience of living in the UK.
No matter what your first language is or what level you’re currently at, you can learn to speak English. You’ll work with expert language staff, bringing you the most relevant and up-to-date knowledge. Boost your English language confidence with practical skills sessions and lots of opportunities to try speaking the language.
Learn the essential theory behind the language, working up from the basics to more complex ideas as you progress.
By the end of your course you’ll have grown in ability and confidence speaking English. You’ll finish the course with a certification, perfect to prove your skills to future employers.
ESOL Pre-Intermediate: For the pre-intermediate course you will be working towards the B1 level of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). A B1 level qualification is usually required by the Home Office for those learners seeking British Citizenship or leave to remain. However, if you wish to take any exams, you would have to take them at other centres.

You’ll work towards a nationally recognised qualification demonstrating your understanding and expertise in your chosen industry. You’ll combine assessment work with vital real-life experience, putting your knowledge into action at work.
You’ll follow a bespoke learning plan, created collaboratively by your employer and Mid Cheshire College, and designed to give you the most relevant teaching and training for your chosen industry.
You’ll complete the apprenticeship with a National Vocational Qualification (QCF) equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree, as well as a portfolio of completed work, a Technical Certificate, and proven on-the-job experience.
