You’ll gain the knowledge and specialist skills you’ll need to launch a career in the travel and tourism sector. Develop the expertise you’ll need to open doors in the retail travel, airline or hotel industry.
As well as industry-specific classroom learning, you’ll put your skills into practice within a replica travel shop or within the College’s life-size aeroplane cabin. Undertake additional course elements, learning the role of a travel agent, resort rep, cabin crew or other airport staff.
Working in collaboration with Swissport and the Cruise Lines International Association, you’ll gain great transferable experience in addition to a nationally recognised certification.

You’ll work towards a nationally recognised qualification demonstrating your understanding and expertise in your chosen industry. You’ll combine assessment work with vital real-life experience, putting your knowledge into action at work.
You’ll follow a bespoke learning plan, created collaboratively by your employer and Mid Cheshire College, and designed to give you the most relevant teaching and training for your chosen industry.
You’ll complete the apprenticeship with a National Vocational Qualification (QCF) equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree, as well as a portfolio of completed work, a Technical Certificate, and proven on-the-job experience.
