Fabrication and Welding learner, Ben Clucas, lands an Apprenticeship at Jaguar Land Rover
Fabrication and welding learner, Ben Clucas, has successfully gained 1 of 20 Advanced Apprenticeship places at Jaguar Land Rover. Ben competed with over 17,000 applicants for the apprenticeship position. Ben speaks highly of his teachers and the support he has received at college, he believes the experience gained on his course provided him with the knowledge required for the role. Ben said “During my first three years at Mid Cheshire College I studied Motorcycle Mechanics, having that mechanical background helped in the online assessments required by Jaguar. Also, having engineering and welding experience prepared me for the vigorous interview process at Jaguar. The teachers I’ve had at the college have been fantastic and have always understood everything I’ve needed along the way.”
