Functional Skills: Undertaking additional level 2 maths, English & ICT classes may be required if candidate does not hold A-C

Additional Requirements: Must have been an EU resident for the past 3 years. Must not already hold a degree or Level 4 qualification.

 

Employer Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is hard working, conscientious and with a desire to develop the role further. The Process Operator is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the extruder and mixing for that extruder.

The Process Operator follows the daily/weekly production plan; preparing orders in accordance with the production plan; picking up the working papers (production file) or other relevant paper from the Production office; entering relevant figures into the SAP-system / OEE; returning working papers back to the Production office after finished Production; listening and responding constructively to other team members’ ideas ; offering support for others’ ideas and proposals; be open with other team members about his/her concerns; reinforce team members for their contributions; give honest and constructive feedback to other team members; provide assistance to others when they need it; work for solutions that all team members can support; remain customer focus (internal and external); actively demonstrate excellent levels of teamwork; ensuring your personal safety and the safety of your team; focus on a quality aspects of work and on time delivery of product; ensuring extruders and associated equipment perform effectively and efficiently for maximum production whilst keeping downtime and waste to minimum; ensuring that all clean down instructions are followed and that the mixing/blending for production is completed in accordance with instructions.
