The Wedding Singer

Performing Arts students at Mid Cheshire College wowed audiences with their year-end performance. This year’s performance was the 80s themed Wedding Singer. Joining the audience Winsford’s Town Mayor said “This is the first time we have seen one of your performances and we found it both professional and entertaining. With many students attending the College from the surrounding areas Northwich and Winsford, I was exceptionally proud. It was clear how much work the staff and students put in to design this production”.

The sell-out Show provided a platform for students to showcase not just what they have learnt, but practice elements of a performance that stretched them. Shea Dunne who played the lead part of Robbie said “my favourite part of the Wedding Singer has been how I’ve had to challenge myself and step out of my comfort zone to adapt to working in a professional environment, I feel this year’s show has really pushed us as a company to perform to a high level and learn what is necessary for professional practice.”
